Welcome to Light Ideas.
This Privacy Policy is written against the current codebase. It explains what the app stores on your device, when it may communicate with Apple’s purchase systems, and what we do not collect by default.
1. Developer and scope
Developer type: Individual developer (non-corporate)
Contact: landingfeather@163.com
This policy applies to the current Light Ideas app implementation and its standalone legal pages.
2. What we do not do by default
1. We do not require account creation or sign-in.
2. We do not provide developer-side cloud sync and we do not upload your thoughts to our servers.
3. We do not integrate ads SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash analytics SDKs, or App Tracking Transparency-based tracking.
4. We do not read your photos, contacts, location, microphone, camera, messages, keyboard input, or the content of other apps.
5. The current code does not include feedback upload, support-message upload, or social sharing upload.
6. The current code also does not declare runtime access to camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts, or similar sensitive permissions.
3. Information stored locally on your device
1. Thought content and state
To run the Bubble / Glass board, the app stores the content you enter and the minimum related state locally on your device, such as:
- the thought text;
- creation time;
- whether the item is currently a Bubble or Glass item; and
- the condensation completion time, if applicable.
2. Board and interface settings
To keep the board close to the way you left it, the app stores locally:
- the Bubble / Glass layout ratio;
- Bubble lifetime settings (the current code supports 24 / 48 / 72 hours);
- the selected material preset;
- the selected background palette;
- custom palettes and the names you assign to them.
3. Purchase-unlock state needed on iOS / iPadOS
The current code does not store your payment credentials on a developer server.
If you view the purchase page, buy lifetime access, or restore purchases on iOS / iPadOS, the app reads the minimum product and entitlement state needed from Apple’s StoreKit / App Store services to determine whether lifetime access is unlocked.
4. Network use and third parties
1. Developer-side data collection
Based on the current code, the app has no developer-operated network endpoint. We do not upload your thought text, material selection, palette selection, custom palettes, Bubble lifetime settings, board layout, or usage habits to the developer.
2. Apple purchase flow
On iOS / iPadOS, if you actively:
- open the lifetime-purchase view and load product information;
- start a purchase; or
- restore purchases,
those requests are handled through Apple’s StoreKit / App Store systems. Product pricing, billing, transaction verification, restore flow, and refund rules are handled by Apple. We do not directly receive your Apple ID, bank-card number, or full payment credentials.
3. Android network note
The current Android main release manifest does not declare internet permission. Development/debug manifests may include INTERNET permission for Flutter development tooling and hot reload, but that is not a production user-data collection path.
4. Third parties currently involved
- Apple: StoreKit and App Store, only when you actively load pricing, purchase, or restore purchases on iOS / iPadOS
5. Retention and deletion
1. Your thoughts and board settings stay on your device until you edit them, delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
2. If your device or operating system enables system-level backup and restore, whether app-local data is restored from device backups is controlled by Apple, Google, or the operating system itself, not by the developer alone.
3. Because the developer does not hold your thought content remotely, we generally cannot delete device-local thoughts for you from a server. You can remove them directly inside the app or by deleting app data / uninstalling the app.
6. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- continue using the free mode or choose whether to buy lifetime access on iOS / iPadOS;
- delete individual thoughts, adjust lifetimes, and change materials or palettes;
- stop using the app and remove local content by clearing app data or uninstalling the app; and
- contact us with questions about this policy.
7. Minors
If a minor uses the app, guardian guidance is recommended so the local-storage nature of the product and the purchase flow are understood. Any purchase must also comply with Apple App Store account rules and parental requirements.
8. Policy updates
If a later version adds accounts, cloud sync, feedback upload, analytics, broader network features, Android billing, or any other feature that changes how personal information is handled, we will update this policy before those changes are made available.
